Presumably, if I open TCB in a different browser, it will be ok without having to clear all my cookies. I've only looked at these offers through I.E. not firefox or safari, so if I go through one of them it should be ok?

Hi,
I opened the HSBC account a while ago, it opens as a current account advance but if you don't pay in the £500 a month it just changes to a regular account.
The cashback tracked quickly for me, I opened the account at the start of Jan and was able to cash out the money by the end of March. I have never paid £500 per month into the account so they obviously don't rely on this for the cashback to appear.

on the site doesn't it say that the cashback is given upto £50 and only from various retail outlets when you use your debit card?0
