ps3 questions

1. it has bluetooth stamped on the side of the console. so does that mean i can connect devices using bluetooth? if yes then how?
2. can i connect my sony ericsson walkman phone via usb? when i tried it said unknown usb device is connected.
3. why cant i get a widescreen picture from a dvd-r that has widescreen programmes recorded on it? the dvd recorder has always been set to 4:3 record mode but that hasnt stopped me from seeing programmes in widescreen on other dvd players. is there a way round the issue?
4. are there any ps3 exclusive games that arent rock hard? they certainly seem to be harder than 360 exclusive games.

1. you can only connect bluetooth headsets/keyboards/the ps3 bluetooth remote and controllers via bluetooth afaik

2. it didnt like my se k800 (without a memory card) in file transfer mode, it did let me browse my se k810's memory card in file transfer mode

3. press triangle while playing the movie - i'm sure there are some picture options there

4. it all depends on how good at gaming you are as i find that most of the exclusives are pretty easy to play

our tv has something called wiselink were it lets me connect my phone but only reads the memory stick and not the phone memory. there was a memory stick in the phone when i connected it to the ps3. the phone is a w810i by the way.

do you find killzone 2 easy? :eek:

the w810 (brilliant phone btw!) should work with the ps3 in file transfer mode. one thing i did notice when i plugged my k810 in is that it went mental and wouldn't let me select file transfer mode, however i plugged it into another usb port and it worked 1st time.

if it still doesnt work, turn the phone off then plug it into the ps3

i've never played any of the killzone games but i find motorstorm and metal gear solid easy.

I'm a crap gamer. Try Uncharted, it's a great game and available at bargain prices at the moment.

the ps3 says unknown usb device before i have a chance to select file transfer on the phone. i will give what you suggest a go though.

it shouldnt make much difference if it does or not as the phone reboots anyway

we have the demo downloaded at the moment. we get so far and then they come at us from multiple angles. it is impossible to get a defensive position against them all.

3. Check your dvd playback options in the settings menu, you can set how you want films to play. You may also want to check your display settings if your not using hdmi as it may be set to 4:3 tv.

4. Ha I have this problem. Just get cheats :rotfl: Although some games I'm good at, burnout paradise I've got 100% in which is fairly easy if you like racing.

i am using hdmi. it is set to letterbox. when i changed that setting it squashed the picture up further. so i changing that isnt the answer. i will have a more detailed look at the settings later. i guess if i use the regular cable there wont be a problem but i want to take advantage of the upscaling it gives through hdmi.
