My dad is with the halifax, and has had iome insurance with them for over 15 years, up until 1 month ago he was paying £62 per month, when he went to renew his insurance this year they told him that he was paying far too much and offerd him the same insurance now for £22 per month.
Could he question his paying in the earlyier years or should he just leave it?.

It was his choice not to look around or examine new products. So, in answer to your question, no.0

If I was him, I would be voting with my feet...0

My Dad voted with his feet this year after I showed him how much he could save by moving co's.
His contents and buidings renewal was going to be in the region of £760. I spent half an hour online and got him better cover for under £250. When he called the co to decline the renewal they went away and came back with £333.
My Mum and Dad are too trusting and naive and think that by being a loyal customer you will get the best price.
I have told them for years to shop around but they can't be bothered and just auto renew.
I'm hoping that as I have helped them to make such a huge saving it has finally made them see that with a little effort and time there are usually savings to be made.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
