i have a 3 bed semi
we turned part of the garden
into a drive, had a nightmare
with the council kerb is 3 milimeters
too high at our gate anyway
thats another story

eventually the council came and
put a white line across

no one could park across our gates

but it dosent seem to stop folk
worst culprits are the neighbours young

am i allowed to have the car removed
(have brother with breakdown truck)
or what do i do

police say it isnt there problem and
wont get involved :mad::mad::mad:
at my wits end
talking to them isnt option
you just get told to f off

any suggestions gratefully appreciated

  • Do you have a dropped kerb?
Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam
  • The white line is only an advisory keep clear sign and has no legal status. If you have a droped footway (kerb) and you happen to live in a decriminalised parking area where it is enforceable then call your local council parking dept and keep pestering them to issue tickets to those contravening section 86 of the Traffic Management Act 2004.

If the council are unable to take action then it is a police matter as the vehicles are causing an obstruction. If the police do not play ball then contcat you local councillor and ask them to get involved, if still no luck, try your MP and submit an official complaint agianst the Police. It's a case of those who shout the loudest get heard.

    but according to council
is 3 mils too high and i
    can only use the company
    they say to lower it
they want £3000 to do the job

    thanks TBD
    council dont want to know
    police dont want to know
my councillor lives 3 doors away
from me and says there is nothing
    she can do

    revenge is sweet
i will get my own back
    and with any luck
    it will cost them £175
for tow truck and £12 per day
    storage cause this usually
    happens on a friday night
    and garage is closed at
    weekend
