how long before i send a reminder email

Someone won an auction on Sunday, I sent them an invoice a few hours later that night but they have not paid yet?
Is now an ok time to send them a reminder email or is that a bit too soon.

If they haven't paid by this coming Sunday night do I report them as a non paying bidder?

    Hiya,

I am also waiting on someone paying, they won late friday night.

I stated payment within 3 working days please, so I am going to give them until this friday, as they will then have had 4 working days to pay.

I am not sure about reporting them, may need advice on that myself ! lol

At this point I would send another invoice with a message on advising that payment needs to be made by a certain date. Usually I find this is enough to remind the buyer to pay. I also write at the bottom that if they have any problems with payment then could they please let me know - I would much prefer someone contacts me to say they will be paying later then just leaving it.
Sometimes I have sent a 2nd chaser email 2 days later.
If they haven't paid by 7 days then you can open a dispute. Fortunately I have only had to do this once, usually the chaser emails are enough.

They have 7 days to pay after the auction ends, on day 8 you can open unpaid dispute and then after another 7 days if they haven't paid you can close th dispute and give them an unpaid strike.

If you want immediate payment then you need to list as buy it now and select the immediate payment option when listing - I love this when selling using buy it now.

Most people usually do pay within the 7 days. They are often waiting to get paid or money to clear but dont let you know. I would wait the full 7 days before sending a polite email. Then after that its up to you if you open a dispute or not.

I would say a little early to remind (I also have one outstanding from Sunday).

I send a gentle reminder after 5 days and at the end of the 6th day advise that payment must be made within 24 hours to prevent an unpaid claim.
