Jumble sales - how do I find them?

Aside from stumbling across a few Scout jumble sales where they've put a big banner up outside the hall, I can't seem to find jumble sales. I'm sure they're happening, though. Is it possible that they'd be listed/advertised anywhere or do they just reply on word of mouth to promote these?

Generally, they are in the classified section of local newspapers.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
