anewman wrote:I wonder if this microdermabrasion thing is similar to the lab series for men skin resurfacing scrub which sells for around £25. When you put the lab series for men skin resurfacing scrub on your face there's a warming sensation, then basically the stuff is like a face scrub with aluminium whatever it is. This would obviously be a cheaper alternative if it was pretty much the same stuff
I think it is the same. My face did feel really warm and tingly. It says you shouldn't leave it on your face for more than two mintues, couldn't even if I wanted to!!
Then you use the accompanying moisturiser for a week.
My skin has definitely improved.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

In one of the supplements that come with the Times on saturday they did a review of fake tans and this L'oreal one came out tops - they gave it 5 points as opposed to the 2 points awarded to No 7 Naturally Sunkissed. Must admit I am disappointed with the latter - got it on bogof in order to get a purple bag but it takes an age to dry, an age to work, TWO applications a day and I've used up nearly a whole bottle in a couple of days. Think I might take the other bottle back for a refund.
Yesterday in Hempstead Valley Boots there was a whole stand of Flower Therapy stuff with no indication that it had been reduced. Asked SA to check price of one of the room sprays and it was down to £1.65 - shelf label said £4.99. It is near the back of the store for all you medway folks.
Also got one of the med preg pink bags with my voucher - it DOES go thro even though it is £9.99. :TEllie

Noticed on Saturday that Boots time delay range were suddenly on 3 4 2. could kick myself as I have just used up 4 vouchers last week:mad:
Luckily have 2 more left, but they do say only 1 per transaction, as opposed to 1 per item. So if I get 3 td items on the 3 4 2, can I only use 1 voucher - or is it up to sa discretion ?
Quite like the sound of the dermabrasion set, I had thought it were just an exfoliant, but if it could eat away at 20 yrs of wrinkles and aging, I'll give it a go;)0 -
Just received my free solton progressive facial moisturiser with purchase og no streaks wipe x 4 so thank you to OP-before thanks button reappeared.
Also got boots holiday glow stuff on offer but the review in the paper at the weekend basically said it was useless-has anyone tried it -might have to go back?0 -
