I went into Boots last week and picked up 2 of the £24.50 suncare sets (as well as a couple of other items). I handed in my parenting voucher. One went through free, but I was I was charged for the other one. Does it make a difference when you give the voucher to the SA? Also, I paid with points, not cash, does this make a difference?
Also, can someone tell me where the Mediterranean range is. And do you have to get maternity range with the voucher?
Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi Millie
I got the 2 sets last weekend. They went through as BOGOF, and then went through okay with the parenting voucher. I was paying cash for the Johnsons babywipes (BOGOF and £1 off with coupon) and paid only £1.79 in total.
I don't know if it depends on the sa? I deliberately went for one who looked like a saturday girl and she passed no comment.

To me this sounds as if your No7 £16.50 voucher didnt work because they are on BOGOF anyway so if the voucher had worked they would have both been free. This was possibly because you paid with point.

For me the Med range is beside all the other Boots specific ranges like Sanctuary but i guess all stores will be different. There is 2 Med vouchers in the mailing, one for the pregnancy range (free item up to £5) and one for the normal range (BOGOF) each of these vouchers HAVE to be used on the range that is specified on the voucher. i.e the pregnancy voucher has to be used on the pregnancy range and normal one on normal range.

    Hope that helps.

I think katyag is right .... I've tried to use vouchers in the past and they wont accept them when you are paying with points.

Also millie_17 ... I'm thinking if your voucher never got used then really the SA shouldn't have kept it. Now - the store wont be able to give it back ... but If you were to call the customer service helpline and explain the situation (maybe worth being vague about the exact item you bought as the suncare set is more than the value of the parenting voucher) they may be able to send you another voucher or some other form of compensation??

    just an idea....

Vouchers definitely don't work when you use points.

I tried this with the half price sunglasses offer for a £15 pair, thinking I could use the voucher and then pay the £7.50 owing, with points.

The Sa did try it for me but it wasn't to be :(
