I went through the web-site and registered. Had assumed that the points would be added to AC through machine next time I went in, like with Boots.com. Does anybody know what the procedure is to get the 250 points to clarify this?

Points not added via AC machine - I went in to check today. I think you have to go to the pharmacy counter, but I didn't have time to do this.

I got some body wipes in this range today - pack of 30 reduced to 50p a pack and had 200 points added on for each pack :T
Might be worth looking out for them in your local - Although I was a bit :o as the packs say they are for people with bladder weakness! But hey - I wasn't going to let the extra points get away :rotfl:

The points were from a voucher on the machine.

Yes, I have heard that too. I don't think they are allowed to swap but I know some people have managed to but it depend on who serves you. HTH

Boots aren't supposed to take back baby milk. Simple reason being at Boots the milks/formulas are kept at a controlled temperature, they don't know what you've done with it whilst its been in your possession, you might have put it in the fridge/freezer/back of the car/in the sun... If you were the next mum to come along to buy the milk, would YOU like to buy a product for your BABY that had been out of the store in an uncontrolled environment?

Another reason was that back in the 80s/90s there were a spate of offences where people were buying baby milk, opening them up then putting ground up glass back in with the formula...then returning it back to the shops for sale....:(

Or at least thats the version of events that I was told by Boots whilst I worked for them ;) It's a pain for the mum who picks up the wrong milk and is completely genuine, but I hope that helps!

Dont usually post but thought this was interesting. for the past few weeks all Boots make have been one third off at Loughborough. I thought it was everywhere but today SA said it was just an experiment at loughborough and will last for another 3 weeks.

I used £5.00 voucher for time delay and got that plus the third off so,was very pleased .

Not a good days in Boots today.

Till crashed so had to pay cash which my mother had as I had none :o . Then it would not add on 200 point voucher for No7 and I bought 3 items from the range. Both skin care and cosmetics and then it did not add my normal points on.

And when I went back they still did not add the right amount of points and no skincare/sun glasses voucher even though I spend over £10. Which I wanted as husband needs new sunglasses.

Me thinks I am going to complain  As I was made to feel a right pilchard today.

Also anyone get an e-mail from Boots today about joining the parenting club strange or what. I joined the health club ones the other day on-line.

  • This is in the H & B mag and I nearly missed it as its not at the back with the other vouchers.

Page 26 of the mag has Elizabeth Arden advertisment for Bohemian Bronze colours at the bottom of the page it states ...present this page in store to receive your comlimentary Bohemian Bronze colors makeover and receive 750 advantage card points with the purchase of 2 or more Elizabeth Arden products.

Oh Calley! I left 3 sunglasses vouchers in store yesterday. I knew I wouldn't use them, so left them in hope someone could use them.
Next time I'll ask on here.

I have returned baby ,milk to boots. I was refunded my money but the SA did tell me that it would be put straight into the bin as I might have contaminated it.

On another note, in my local Boots today Kandoo wash mitts reduced from £2.69 down to 67p actually scanned at 44p. I went to get some more but the lady behind me in the queue had beatv me to it and scooped up the lot:p

Also when did the H&B mags come out? Local Boots haven't got any yet.
