I met possibly the rudest No. 7 SA today at Bloowater. She was so disinterested in helping me to find some facepowder, then when I reappeared a bit later to check out the bronzers she greeted me with "are you still here?" in the glummest of tones. Twice she told me to bring my purchases back to her till (no, of course I didnt!!!) so there is definitely some kind of payback in operation I reckon.;)

They get commission for their sales - that's what they always say the reason is when they ask me to come back :)

Can I just say a big thank-you to everyone on here - all of your advice combined with free pigsback boots vouchers means that the amount of money I now spend at boots is almost zero but I seem to get even more stuff!

The wording is wrong on the offer sign as it doesnt say anything about a minimum spend or that the wipes are not included in the offer. I did argue for ages but they didnt budge and i had a baby with me so had to give up . not happy.

I'm not too, they wouldn't budge either - finally got the manager who explained that the wipe did not have the word "body" on it so was therefore exempt. I said to her, what do you use the wipe for? I said, it's for your body isn't it? Anyway again, she wouldn't have it, so was really p***ed off when I read in earlier post that it's on the Boots website that it can be used with a wipe, so have printed it off and am taking it into the store tomorrow to show her. However I bet there are no wipes to be had now. Is it worth ringing CS to complain? I was in there for ages.

Boots certainly need to word their offers better and make exclusions clear if they don't want to give certain deals.

Saw the lovely pink Med Preg miniature bags but sadly they were £9.99 so I got some free lavendar massage lotion with my voucher instead.

Got the free Naked face wash (yippeee!!!):T but couldnt find the 49p Camomile, Sage and orange flower toner anywhere - is it a Natural Collection product?????

Snotty SA in gravesend yesterday wouldnt take my voucher for 100pts on the bogof Oil of Primrose shower creme. Well, she scanned it but it didnt work. "That's because they are BOGOF she said, it would mean you got more points than you are paying". Oh dear, do you think Boots are sending the SAs on a Moneysavers Course?

    Hi Ellie2758,

At last. i thought no one here was from Kent, let alone Gravesend.
i'm from Gravesend as well and i'm sure every time i go the Boots store, all the SAs look at me and go- 'here she is again. what is she ging to try to do this time.' i can never get any of the glitches to work in the Gravesend store because all the SAs are so particular about checking each and every voucher and the whole receipt.

I've seen a couple of other postings from Kent/Medway peeps. I usually go to Chatham or Bluewater to use their machine cos the stuff on offer in gravesend is very limited as well isnt it??? Avoiding chatham now tho cos of the roadworks!!!
