I managed to get quite a few nice reduced bits at boots today, plus picked up the magazine so lots of vouchers too.
Have been looking everywhere for the reduced Soltan kids sun stuff as could really use that but can't find it anywhere
Also seems like my ACM offers are total rubbish. Hope they get better soon. Did manage the skin clear stuff last week, but was my first attempt at bootsing. Have never had any No17 vouchers and no Easy4men either. Don't think I have one for the batteries on 3 for 2 either.Oh and have never had any over spend offers either. Bitter? me?
Maybe it will perk up once I shop there more regularly. And maybe I should apply for a card in OH's name too and see what that brings.
Thanks all for the info anyway - having good fun with this!Debts - [STRIKE]£9925.64[/STRIKE] £8841.88 :T Aiming to get below £9k by the end of Oct.:D:D November aim - sub £7.5k!

Might be of help - some machines in the same store give out different vouchers. I did this once when the EI offer was on. Went into a big store in town rather than my local store which didn't stock it. Went to first AC machine and got virtually nothing. Decided to have a go at another one and I got all the vouchers that people had been posting about. Obviously if you have only one machine in your store this won't help you, but may be of use to someone else. There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.0 -
I had a brilliant day in Boots today, first time I have been for about 2 weeks.
My intention was to get one of the lovely N07 organisers/palette in the suede bag but that wasn't quite as easy as I first thought!
There were only two left on the stand so I thought I would have both , one for me and one for my dd.
I took both to the till along with the obligatory Lilac bags and passed one over to the lovely Sa.
It went through at £8.50 so I thought they had reduced them again, passed over the Lilac bag but "the till said no"
I explained (nicely) to the sa that it should go through fine as the till sees the original price of £15 and so allows the Lilac bag despite it being at the reduced price. I was completely confused by then as I had read so many stories on here of people getting the bag with the organiser and I thought its just my luck for it not to work for
me!
Only then did we both see it had been reduced because it had a mascara missing so thats why it wouldn't work!
We cancelled all that and tried the other one and that went through fine, 1 beautiful organiser and the cherry on the top of the Lilac bag.
Before all this, I had bought £10 's worth of goodies including 3 lots of hair dye as it was on offer with 200 points ( still cost me almost £11 though)!
In with the goods I bought were two of the easy4men items, a 3in1 wash and a hairgel, looking at my receipt, the easy4men Hairgel which should have been £2.15, was listed as free, not the hairwash which cost me £1.50.
( EDIT: my receipt says "total saving today £7.58 including £2.15 in deals")
This confused me so I tried it again at a different till, buying 1 at a time in seperate transactions.
I bought the hairgel with some babywipes and it came up as full price, I then tried the 3in1 wash at a different till wth more babywipes and it also came up at full price so I am still confused!
The only thing I did differently, was I used a voucher with my first transaction but forgot to do so on the subsequent ones.
Its still strange though that everyone else has had the 3in1 free and I had the hairgel free, maybe it isn't limited to just the 3in1.....
anyway, sorry to waffle on, would just like to say, I had a brilliant day and its all down to you wonderful people on here, Thanks a million! :TStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
ragtimeplayer, when you say you didnt use voucher did you mean the no7 or the acm?
if you mean the acm i think that's what triggers the item being free

Maybe some stores are putting the mag out early and this is why some people can't find them.
I am a real newbie but love this site - however today tried to use voucher out of magazine for ByeBye Blemish but machine 'beeped' and would not allow it.
Beginning to realise that each till machine is a little character all of its own.
Today bought:
2 X No 7 sun product BOGOF and qualified for Lilac Bag
3 X hair product (free points from ACM) and because 2 were pantene also received 68p off
No 7 wipes and free bush but think i only got 1 set of 100 points
3 x bodyform so 3 for 2 freebie and £2 off
Anyway being a newbie i lost exactly where all my vouchers went but receipt told me i had:
received 89 points +
600 bonus points +
saved £14.59 :T
Thank you everyone
PS - oops - i forgot to use my £5 off No 7 voucher - but never mind - I am learning :dance:                 :dance:I am finally understanding what money can do for me!0 -

I used the acm voucher on the first lot and when trying the items one by one, I didn't use any vouchers, I think you're right, it probably is only triggered when you use an acm voucher.Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110
