Boots Newcastle under Lyme this afternoon:

not 1 lilac bag and not 1 mascara on the shelves. Infact the no7 was nearly empty.

I asked the sa and she said the mascara offer starts tomorrow so I didnt get anything today and will go back on Thursday.

There's still loads of Boots magazines instore whereas there aren't any magazines in Hanley at all

I'm getting fed up with the 200 point No7 voucher from the magazine - it never scans! :(And if you ask the SA about it, they read the smallprint and happily announce the dreaded "Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer" (I try to use them with the £5 voucher...)

It scans on the fake tan wipe which is £1.49 :j

I have had no problems using the voucher from the magazine with the £5 voucher. I used my last 2 £5 vouchers today in 2 separate branches, and had no probs. I even got given a bonus £5 voucher. A new dad was in a small branch and buying bits and pieces. He was offered the voucher, but said he could not use it and offered it to anyone in the shop. No-one else wanted it, so I took it and used it to buy a pack of wipes and handed over the magazine voucher at the same time. Believe it or not, this small branch actually had wipes, when nowhere else did.

This happened to me today to and yes I got told the same. I would have insisted in the shop usually ( cos I'm awkward like that :o ) but I was in a rush to get the bus back in time for DD to come out of school so I am contacting customer services tomorrow to see if they will add the 200 points.

If I am told the same thing, that its not valid in conjunction with other offers, I will be informing them that I have used 250 points from the Lilac bag in a different transaction on another day and ask whats the difference between that one and the one in the mag.

Can anyone clarify for me whether the 250 points coupon says not in conjunction with other offers please?

I want to make my case watertight :D

Good thinking, bedshaped! ;) And yes, it does - I just checked.

I would've queried not getting the points today, but as it's a weekday, the SAs were grumpy old ladies and I was lucky enough to get away with my other vouchers (Brita 500 points -- I did spend over a fiver on them, though!), so did not want to draw any more attention to my receipt.

And I've had to phone Boots CS twice in the last week, so really don't think I'll be doing it again so soon... :o

But let us know what they tell you! :)

Hi. Yes, the 'lilac' coupon says 'coupon is not transferrable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. One coupon per transaction... excludes No. 7 gift sets.'

But I successfully used the 200 point magazine coupon with the £5 voucher. The second time I forgot to give the 200 point voucher to the SA so when I got home I called customer service and they added the points for me. She did tell me off for not going back to the store and said she would do it this time but not again! So if anyone has a 200 pt No7 coupon which didn't scan, call customer service and ask them to add it for you. It's worth a try.

Netty & chelltune - and anyone else really

If there's a problem with the first 2 posts, it's best to PM me or Liverbird so that we know about it (Liverbird if it's a current offer; me if it's "anything else") and then we can change the first two posts where necessary.

Posting suggestions for amendments directly on the thread always means there's the risk we'll miss your messages.

For Post 2 (and I presume Liverbird feels this for Post 1) if anyone is posting a suggestion for inclusion, they'll need to post the exact product they're on about and the exact voucher and where it can be found.

If I have to read a suggestion twice, it generally means the info is unclear and therefore someone else will be baffled when reading it on Post 2.

So no "On product XYZ, you can get 100 points and £5 off if you use the vouchers in the magazine" please! You'll get a "What?" response!

    Thanks :)

Hi Dave, I hope you don't think was critising! I read every post of this thread each day. I was just pointing out that the info wasn't on the first post as someone had said it was. I have no idea what is what with these products as I haven't used my vouchers yet.
I'll be sure to let you and Liverbird now if I spot any glitches. hansk for keeping on top of all the offers.

Pressed "Thanks" instead of "Quote" derrr.

Yes, £2.50 voucher DOES say the same but I used it in conjunction with £5 voucher today in a very small branch (Strood) that is probably not seeing much of the No 7 action & SA put it through even after peering at it. I had completely forgotten it was the last day of the £5 voucher so had to dash off to the closest Boots where there wasnt much to choose from. Ended up with tinted moisturiser which will get used as I wear it when I cant be bothered to tart myself up.:D
