I have just cancelled my Amex Blue (circa 2007). I have not used it in years and never registered the replacement as being active. I didn't realise the colour until I threw it in the pile off old cards. The top half is slightly frosted whilst the bottom half is clear. There is a shiny blue square in the middle. It was transparently obvious that there was no point in keeping it.

In a way, I miss the old bright green colour now. I almost left the black 'World Mastercard' in the Chip and Pin machine at the supermarket today because it blended so well with the black of the machine! It'll take some time getting used to.

Sorry if this has been answered - I cannot find it having read through a number of threads.

The terms and conditions for new customers on the website talk of a 3% balance transfer fee. There are also references to no fee if you have a positive balance, but if you are an existing Egg Money customer, do you now have to pay for balance transfers to your current account if you have a negative balance? It is not clear in the emails I have received from Egg.

Thanks in advance for the help.

That's always been the case. BTs to Egg Money (when using a negative balance, ie not stoozing positive balances) have always had a 3%(?) BT fee.

There's no mention of it because there's been no change!
  • I got mine in the post today!

Its a sexy looking card. :T
