Queried My Quote & Saved £85

1st post on this site. I just queried my Direct Line Home Insurance (building & contents) renewal quote which had gone up 15%. With very little effort they gave me a discount which saved me £85 & actually made it cheaper then it was in 2006! It even beat the Halifax online quote by £15. It's worth having a go & don't just accept a hike on renewal.:beer:

I'm having real problems getting home insurrance for being out of the country for 3 months - does anyone have any advice. Many offer insurrance for 60 days but we need 90 plus days.0
