Aquis Zorbas Village - Hersinossos - Crete

Hi there,

I don't know if this is the done thing, but I'm after some info that I've been unable to get on the net. Last week we booked up a Travelzoo deal, which is being organised by Qwerty Travel. It's 7 nights AI at a place called Aquis Zorbas Village, and the cost was £319 each including Monarch flights from Gatwick on September 25th 2009.

I found it strange that for a place with 219 bungalows, it only had 2 reviews on the whole of the internet (that I could find), and was wondering if it had been known as any other names in the past. If anyone knows about this place I'd be grateful for a PM or just a regular reply.

I saw that deal - IIRC it used to be known by a slightly different name - try looking on Trip Advisor for the Zorbas Village.

Thanks for that Incapuppy - I've looked and can only find two reviews for that on tripadvisor.com (one of which is in Italian), but thanks anyway!

Have you checked other review sites like holidaysuncovered, holidaytruths, holidaywatchdog etc? Maybe there aren't many reviews about as it is mostly used by other nationalities?

Still nothing I can find on any of those sites incapuppy.
am guessing just nobody bothered to review this place cos it's so new.

I was interested in this hotel, and also unable to find reviews. Have just found out it reopened under the Aquis brand on 24th April, so hopefully there will be some reviews available soon.

We're going on this date, the revues for Aquis Zorbas Village on Tripadvisor look great, 87% recommended.

Do you have transport to and from the airport.
