    Hello all
    Serial lurker
I put a PPI claim in to Firstplus early May , £25,000 loan was told “might as well have PPI as you get all your money back in 5 years and if you lose your job you will be covered”
Can’t believe now I was so gullible but I took the advisor at their word
Anyway been watching the forum for Barclays/FP and it seems they are delaying all of us as a company policy ,I have had 4 delay letters since the acknowledgment
I am getting a sinking feeling that they waiting till the last possible moment to send out a raft of rejection letters so hopefully a large number of us throw in the towel and then they will only have to pay out to the more persistent of us

    Thoughts ?

Hi there Di or Amersall will be along at some point, but I think its just a waiting game. Some do drag there heels. Just in case post this on the PPI disussion thread. This one is usually for general chat and waffle.

ive had loads of pm's along these lines and here is an example of one :

That they will reject everyone on the 31st August and most will fade away and the amount passed to the FOS would just overwhelm the whole system and pop the bubble is burst!

    But my view is :

The banks & CC companies have put aside vast sums of monies to address the ppi complaints, They have paid out thousands already and some even have been fined thousands more for mis-selling these policies, let alone risk their reputations more so which have been damaged to a cost to those banks again.

We all have thoughts and the longer the wait the more thoughts we hear. Just try to hang in there, all will be fine im sure ;)

You beat me too it:p:p but yours is a better reply ;)

Hi there, this is frontloaded ppi and you will have a win here, they cannot get out of it.
When did you put your claim in, and are you involved in the interest rate issue with FP?

Morning all :A:A:A:A sorry it is afternoon now:p

I believe that all genuine claims will get paid out, those who were offered goodwill gestures, especially Barclays will get paid out.

It wont be worth the banks while to have a deluge of rejects,as they get charged for every claim that is passed to FOS.

Just hang on in there and let the banks get on with it, i believe that people complaining to banks that they have had a claim in for 24 hours and have not recieved a cheque yet :p:p:p JOKING!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Should leave it alone  all that is causing is more delays,as how can they be dealing with the backlog of complaints WHEN THEY ARE HAVING TO DEAL WITH PHONECALLS ASKING FOR UPDATES.(no offence Bigralphie, did not mean you)
Was it you who said this Marksman?.

Di :A has had claims in longer than a year, but you dont hear her moaning do you? nor me :p:p:p:p:p:p

    Anyway rant over :p:p
