What a strange morning, think the battery is dead on the focus , its a 2006 year, 2 litre turbo diesel, 6 speed, and have been a fantastic car, immaculate, like this shape here....

    http://www.jermynandsons.co.uk/used_ford_focus_hatchback_190.htm

We got rid of our Subaru Impreza last year to save money to have the diesel focus and this is the first problem ever we had on the focus, so miss the Scooby, and though Ford was supposed to be reliable :(!
Oh well a new battery I think, when you start it, its just clunk clunk, maybe the alternator .

This will be the first battery for this car is it is the problem, does anyone know the prices, or do they vary from diesel to petrol?

    Thank you.:);)

A totally different car to the Scooby isn't it, LOL.

oh dear! Found On Roadside Dead!

it sounds like the battery! :( but get the alternator checked too to make sure its charging with the rite amps. If you go to any good motor spares shop they should fit a new one and also check your charge rate (only me can find something rude in that im thinking:eek:)

being a diesel go for the heavy duty battery version as its demand is greater ie, glow plugs etc

It should cost £75-£105 but im from london so expect to pay half that! lol :D

It certainly is ,and strangely enough we seen our scooby pass down the main road the other day, it still looks immaculate, the huge exhaust, the stunning scoop and spoiler, the side skirts, and we heard it before we seen it because of the dump valve.........gutting and jealous!

    LOL.:D:)
