Thank you for that. Yes its good to have a couple of days to catch up with myself, it was a late one last night, but good, saw a few people I didnt expect to see so it was nice to catch up:D

Another do tonight..another retirement, they are coming thick and fast at the moment. Always make a really special effort for people I like, havent worked with him for a long time but always lovely when he sees me.

Of course that means I am not at netball tonight ..blimey I hear you say.. but I have left it in the capable hands of my co coach, bless her:D

Well off to do some pottering and get clothes ready for work and pop to the shops.

Thought about hanging the washing out but I am not sure that it would blow away :eek: Perish the thought of my undies in the neighbours garden:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:wave: Hello my lovelies Di, Gerry, Amersall (in no particular order)

I hope you have all been enjoying the good weather. As for me I have been at it again running around in my netball dress and we had a great win today. :j just got to keep fighting and hope that we can nick second place for promotion.

On to the battle of the bottom two tomorrow to stave off relegation and get into the playoffs where we know we can survive to stay in the top division. It would be too easy if we went down

Hope you are all doing ok and looking forward to some belly laughs soon. I will update tomorrow with good news and it will be positive thinking and all that.

Unfortunately poor Gerry's dad been taken ill and she may not be here for a few days, so sending her my love and thoughts XXXX

Hope you didn't mind me mentioning this Gerry.:A

Well today would have been my mum and dad's 51st Wedding Anniversary, so been spending some time with mum, she taken some lovely flowers to dad's stone, and made up her own lovely poem in memory of dad on their Anniversary.
Overall though not a bad day, weather stayed fine.;)

Will keep a check on your news tomorrow FM, you will be fine, I'm sure you will.:beer:

It was a very emotional day but we got through it together, it does help having a big family I suppose. And I'm sure he was with mum as well.;)

I think Gerry's dad was taken in unfortunately so hope all is going to be OK, have been thinking of her also because of her own issues too.

Both Gerry and her Dad have been in my thoughts sending her lots of love. Its a trying time for her.

Well Di, so glad that it was a good day for you yesterday all bit it hard emotionally, I am with you all the way on that one. Mothers day and everything, so netball did help take my mind of things a little. Sending you huge hugs to my sweet.

I echo what Amersall said, never a true word spoken. We have to look forward and at the same time cherish all our beautiful memories of loved ones, even though it can be hard sometimes.

I will keep a mental note of the due date my dear, I do hope you keep the wailing under control though.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well Di I your good luck wishes did me the world of good and my team. We Won, we won :j :j :j. It was a great game, tight all the way through with only one or two goals in it but we pulled away in the last quarter and won by 9. Whoop whoop.
Now for the playoffs, we should be fine for that and hopefully everyone can stay fit and I have time to rest my aching bones until 22nd May when the battle will commence to keep our place in the league.

Been having somewhat a chilling day for mummy's day, although I did plod on with a bit of ironing, yet I find that so relaxing just as long as I don't have to rush through it.;)

Hello ma wee pals,

Just popped on to make sure scallywag had filled you in re dad, He had a Colonoscopy today but its was 5pm when he got back to the ward so we didn't get the results. I'm going to hospital early in morning hopefully I'll get the chance to speak to doctor then. Dad said the laxative preparation was worse than the Colonoscopy. Poor wee soul, he's been through the wars last few days.

I'll let you know as soon as i get any more news.
