    Hi

Daughter is Fab thank you Amersall. Got her A levels and has left college. Having gap year which may well turn into a very long gap year. She has got herself a nursing job working with dementia patients and absolutely loves it. Already doing her NVQ2 which is a doddle. Although I have been in nursing many years did not think she would like it.

MIL is moving down just after Christmas. She got the house down here she really wanted and has sold hers so all going well there. Am getting new puppy in January little Black Lab from working stock so will be looking to work her too.

How are you and yours. Are you on FB Amersall?xxxxx

Hi Di. All well with me hope you are oK and hub is doing well and enjoying work still. xxx

Hi max, you must be chuffed to bits with your daughter,i take my hat off to her working with people who have dementia, it is not something i could do, it would upset me too much. it is nice to hear of someone doing well and not getting into trouble etc, i know all young ones are not the same, but it is nice when you hear of someone doing well, my daughter is a legal secretary and my son is a web designer (he is still at home ,)We will be getting our pensions together :rotfl: they have both done well, dont think they get their brains from me :rotfl:xx. Glad your mil is better now, what a scare she gave you all with her heart op?. I did register for fb, as a friend of mine had a baby girl early this year and she does not live near to me, so she posted pics of newborn and told me to register so i could see them, havent been on since :D:D:D Have not got time tbh, spend too much time on here ;) with dizzy di :rotfl:

Hi amersall, wow your children are doing great as well, well done to them too :T:T.

Mine is still an Employment Mentor or if you like adviser, to help clients back into work.
And with my youngest he may be going to college next September and will be in the unit for special needs, its a brand new unit.;)

I admire Maxdp's daughter for doing what she is doing :T, when dad had this condition it was very hard indeed and to accept he had it, especially as we lost him at age 69, however it was not the dementia that finished him but the pnemonia.

I left a pm for Gerry a few days ago, getting worried, have you heard from her? XXXX

    Good morning amersall.
Yes and thank goodness too.:T:T:D, just hope she's wrapping up warm, and not going out into this awful weather.:D;)

That's right amersall, our kids make us feel so proud :T.

Hmmmm well i used to work for the caring profession:D, i've worked in 2 nursing homes for the elderly and dementia (i know its a very demading job and its bad enough seeing other poor folks with dementia, but when dad had this i found it very difficult to accept).
And then i worked in a hospital for the mentally & physically handicapped/disabled.:j
Then i became my nan full time care and was working//supervising kids at school around that, but I must say even though i am now a full time carer for my youngest I don't think I'll return to this type of profession though, its time for a change, as rewarding as it is.;)

But still don't know where to go once he starts college next September, we shall see.;)

It was minus 14 in some parts of Wales last night, I know Scotland have had it real bad - bless.
But waking up to a white world once again!

I could not open my front door for a good 10 mins yesterday, and for the sake of it tried the windows, even they ceased, did not want to put on too much pressure, otherwise i would have pulled the whole frame of the window in........:o lol.

Hope your keeping well and warm. :A:A XXXXX
