Hope they get him sorted Di. xxxxxxxxxxxx

    Thank you Max.;)

He have been rather poorly over the last few days, they said he is at the stage now as well that the COPD have got to the worse stage as well.
They are also concerned of his tummy, the shape have worsened, but this is from combined hernia and an anerysm, so they have been in touch with his consultant at the general hospital and awaiting to hear from him, but the last time they did say there was nothing more they could do, nor that they could operate either.
The last few days he have not been able to stand/walk, so we are thinking his condition overall is progressing, at age 69 he is now more like an 89 year old, very sad, but I'm sure they will do all they can to make him comfortable as possible.;)XXXXXXXXXXXX

So sorry to hear that Di. This must be difficult for you all, especially the aneurism must be a bit of a timebomb. Thinking of you.xx

Considering all this though, he still manages to give a smile, but he have definately detoriated.

That is right, well he have had this anerysm for some years, and the last time it was checked it had not grown any further, so this is why I think they will be checking now, they think its possible since the last check up it may have grown, nasty bl**dy thing.

He has got to the stage again of refusing his meds, well off and on really, the one day he is okay taking them and another he can have an agressive turn.

Sending my hugs to you all Max. XXXXXXXXXXX

    Hi Showergirl and thank you.
Hope you and your family are well too.;)

An update on dad from yesterday evening's visit, mum and one of my sister's went to see him (as they are limiting visiting numbers at the moment), and still rather poorly, was unable to walk yesterday or get his words out, he was getting very frustrated.

So at this moment of time, they are not sure if its due to the meds or if again the condition is progressing.

Although when I rang them yesterday afternoon, I was told there was little improvement from the day before, will know more a little later on.

    Cheers. XXX
