Ah I see! Does your son and your mates son go to the same school? :)
I've got contractors at work this week. One of them is a brummie and I haven't a clue what he's saying most of the time as my hearing doesn't pick up accents too well. That's why I gave up watching Rab C Nesbitt! :rotfl:

Ah I see. I thought your uncle teaching was just a top up for him but I understand now. :D Has he been taught how to make cakes yet? ;)
If this meet goes ahead, it might be easier for to me to learn sign language than just keep saying "pardon" to you all the time! :rotfl: :D
I'm going to make my sandwiches. What should I put in them? :)

There may be a unit opening up soon which takes children with needs up to the age of 19, he may attend that, we are waiting for some feedback, because realistically he is best off going, and my uncle is still prepared to help him out.
    So best of both worlds.:D:T
I used to do Makaton for the deaf, I attended courses, its quite fun actually.;) I'm not as quick as the ones you see on TV though :D.

Ham and Cheese and pickle is nice :jXX

  • Good day to you all:j

Hope everyone had a good weekend? I've got another Emma saga, bless:A
She had a wee op on her hand to remove a ganglion it was supposed to be a local anaethestic but ended up being a general (her first op ever she hasnt even had a filling) I felt awful for her. She had a huge dressing on her hand and will need physio too, we just thought it would be a little nick and a plaster. She now cant work at the yard or in the pub but can fortunately still go to college and write.
  • Thats weird, I posted a while ago and it was showing as me on beg thread as last person to post but cant see it. So will re post
Hi everyone hope you had a good weekend.:j

Poor Emma had another saga, she had a small op to take out a ganglion on her left palm, it was supposed to be a local anaethestic but had to be a general (shes not even had a filling up to this point) I felt awful for her because I wasnt allowed to stay with her, I know shes 19 but shes still my wee girl. Anyway shes fine, home, with a huge bandage on and painkillers etc, she will have to go to physio too. So I've had to give sick lines to the yard and the pub again! Thankfully she can still go to college she is still behind form the glandular fever episode..........kids........love em:A
  • well there you go, my original post has popped up must be my puter:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hiya hun

OMG I am so sorry to hear this.
Bless her, I do hope she is okay, please give her a BIG HUG from me.:AXXXX

My oldest son has to see his GP today, he has a lump on the top of his left arm - almost by the shoulder but a itchy rash as well, they are treating him with some cream -yet there are scabies going around too unfortunately , so am being cautious just in case, he is panicking because he meets clients everyday as part of his job, and he showers 3 times a day and he thought it was an hygiene thing, but the GP told him its very common and even a member of his family who teaches get them a lot.
As soon as the rash goes, he is to see about getting this lump which is more like a cyst - about having that removed, they said normally they can do this in the GP surgery but as its quite a size it may be at hospital, I take it as a day patient. I have been nagging him about that for ages to go and see the Doc, apparently the doc said to him, he checked his records before my son went in and said to my son, "we never see you here do we"? lol......:D
I'm sure all will be okay though.......

Have been washing everything on 50 degrees today.
