Just to let you know my daughter had her HPV injection on Wednesday and has been fine apart from a large swelling but very common. I made my mind up in the end to go through with it.;) Next one in a month then another in spring next year.

Glad it all went well Marshallka, my niece also had the swelling as well for a few days, but gone now.
It's knowing what to do for the best, but down to your instincts, you know what's best, I think its very wise.;)

i think these injections are needed, if it is a choice between cancer or a jab that may have a side effect then it would be the jab for me. this vaccine will prevent lots of death in young girls and women, i hated the way the media got this all out of proportion when that young girl died after having it, talk about scare mongering!!! my cousin died when she was 28 from cervical cancer and my auntie wished they had brought this vaccine in years ago

It was scare mongering but it did scare me I must say but we decided to go ahead. My daughter said a few are having them done private but that is cause they are scared of the needle. I must admit the swelling is bad but its very common and they are doing another one in 4 weeks. Just hope it is the other side. I would imagine it is. It is sad about your cousin amersall.

It was done at school but you can opt for the GP's. My daughter wanted it done with her friends though and I am glad. She has friends from other schools and they got theirs this week too.

My niece is 16 but as they have not long come about, this was done a few weeks back, she was too ill with flu when they were due at the school, but she then had this arranged and done through her GP.;)

It was a good evening last night, my mate and her hubby called by and we were talking, then suddenly I felt something land in my hair, I ruffled around and found a false nail :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ,my mate felt so embarrassed it was her's :rotfl::rotfl::D.

She is one brainbox though........ she went to uni in our earlier days and done fantastically well, so I shown her this site, she said she have had a browse on here in the past, and she may join up soon.
    She should be useful.;)
