PPI forum - non PPI discussion thread

Hi everyone,
I must say I'm shocked, no-one has been on chatting today. You're all either too busy or you're communicating via mind-transfer.
Hope both Dad's are doing well and not causing too many sleepless hours for you.
Going for a wander and a nose around the forum now. I'm on my own so I can say out loud,
'Well, I never knew that' or 'That's good to know' and laugh or cry at some of the stories.

Hope your well.;)
As my youngest still has home ed, been spending time with him and my uncle still helping tutoring him, he will be 15 in Jan, and I have a few organisations involved in regards of him going to college for next Sept.

We have been going through different stuff with my youngest, its defo with animals he wants to work with.

Dad been a little unsettled but getting there, I think with spending almost 7 weeks in hospital he thought that was his home, but otherwise doing okay so far, thank you.

A very hectic day today, dad starting to settle for now.

Hi Karen my dad is fine thank you for asking hun we have been busy on the picture PPI thread due to first compo being paid out hope you have had a good talking to yourself session lol:D

Hi Di yes hes not too bad hun thanks for asking he has an appointment at the hopsital next week for tests on his heart so we should know more then. I suspect there is not a lot they can do for him as he is already in heart failure but we will have to wait and see. Hows your mum and dad doing hun? hope they are both coping well Love Di xxxx

Hi Di, glad your dad is okay hun, parents can be a real worry can they?
I agree its good that they do these tests, to make sure on everything, I remember when dad had a heart attack over a year ago, that was very scary indeed.....:eek:, hope all goes well at your dad's appointment Di.;)

Well so far today not doing too bad, getting his confused moments, even though he is not settling much in the nights, think mum finding the first few days difficult, so we have been taking in turns in the family to help all we can around the carers who call 3 times a day.
Hubby did take dad out in the car for a spin earlier and dad did enjoy that.;) It was a break for mum the same time by hubby doing this.
