Kaupthing -> ING interest

My Kaupthing Edge fixed term 1 year savings account was transferred to ING, and in all the letters I received ING stated that they would honour the interest rate until maturity (6.55% if I remember correctly). My account matured on the 8th April, and from an initial investment of £4000, I now have £4,109.16, which seems very low. Did anyone else receive a very low interest rate on their account, or was it just me?

You should have £4,209.60. Call ING and find out what the story is.
When I log onto my KE -> ING account, and click details, it shows that my interest rate is the same as it was with KE (no use to you now I know because yours has matured so you can longer see this info). It also shows my maturity amount, which is correct (mine matures 12 July)You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Are you sure it is one year fixed and not 6 months?
IIRC, the 6 month fixed were paying 6.55% and the 1 year 7.15%.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Oops! Just re-checked my account, it was a 6 month one. Stupid me
Sorry for being an idiot.
