Not really a surprise, but good while it lasted. I will have to start moving money around - again.

You're expecting it to transfer in 1 day? :rotfl:

    See you in 7-10 mate.

Was expecting 7-10 until it hit my current account, but there should be at least something on the Egg statement saying it's in progress.

It's as if they want me to think there is more money on it than there actually is and spend some of it.

Well it has just disappeared from Egg money after 2 days of the transaction. Obviously nothing in the destination account.

I'd be interested to know over what period the interest is lost between going from one account to another, perhaps it is less important nowadays admittedly.

Wow, really? I'm surprised its showed up so quickly. In that case I should apologise for laughing because I thought it would take ages! Egg always takes 2-3 days to update the statement so it'll show up soon.

It's a credit card, not a current/savings account. Transactions can (unusually) take anything up to months to appear on a credit card. Typically up to 5 days.

Customers are (well certainly recently) treating this as a savings account. It isn't.

(Not that I'm condoning late reporting of transactions, but still...)
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

Yes I'm fully aware of this. I wasn't comparing it to a current/savings account. It just so happens that any new transaction shows up in 2-3 days on my egg credit card statement, similar to current/savings account timeframes.
