HELP! ASOS sent ridiculous item! WHAT DO I DO?

 I ordered a skirt off ASOS under the brand 'love you longtime'. This company use vintage Levi's and decorate them. The skirt was supposed to be £75 but I got it for about £30 in the sale. When it arrived yesterday it was completely different from the one in the picture. The tags had been removed from the back pocket (you could see where the stitching was still there) the labels inside had been cut out messily like an item you would find on a market stall. The washing instructions were stickers. Then I realised that it had a Calvin Klein button! It was as though they had used a Calvin Klein skirt and tried to cover it up by cutting out the labels! Surely this is illegal? I compared it to another 'love you longtime' skirt I had and there was a huge difference in quality. I have emailed the 'love you longtime' company and asked if all their skirts are Levi's and they said yes. However, when I complained to ASOS they said that the jeans are all different and won't necessarily be Levi's. All they have offered is a free returns slip. Shouldn't returns be free anyway??? I just don't think it's good enough and want to get them into trouble for this if I can. What do I do?

Sounds like a mix-up at the factory. You do know its the same factorys that make clothes for most major brands?0

Email love you longtime querying the levis thing.then send the email to Asos.
Perhaps asos have a slighty diffrent contract for the skirts sold to them, you need to specify to l y l that you bought the skirt from asos.Unless on the asos site it specifies Levi,I don't think you have a complaint, perhaps there are different grades, thats not a crime.0 -
if its the skirt im thinking:

It has a Levi's label on the back of it...0 -
Yes it is pretty much the same skirt as that but a different colour. They took the one i ordered off the website last night after I had complained - i doubt this was a coincidence, but luckily I had already saved photographs of the other one. The pictures show a Levi's label on the back but ASOS said that they are all different and that is just an example. But i have contacted the love you longtime company and they have told me that all the skirts should be Levi's. I just hate the fact that someone could have paid the original price of £75 for this awful skirt and would not have even know that it was a market-style rip off if they had never seen a loveyoulongtime skirt before! I might write to loveyoulongtime and tell them that there label has been put on this low quality cut up skirt...0
