    I think it is early days yet and that people are not really aware of their consumption at various times of the day.

    I was tempted by this because my carbon fiends have TV and xbox on all evening, we have TV and Sky on for 4-5 hours, and often the dishwasher is running too. I could easily do some washing most evenings too.

    However, the cheap rate is still more expensive that my all-day rate on a normal online tariff, so no incentive to try it. Same with First Utility - it's not the cancellation fee that puts me off, it's the kwh cost.
