hi, i have an acer laptop 60gb.
i have 2.5gb free on c drive, and 12gb free on d drive.
is there anyway i can move some things on the c drive to the d drive to free up some space please? or combine them both to 1 drive???
ive deleted loads of old photos, documents and programmes.
ive also got 3.5gb of music in itunes on c drive - can i somehow move that to d drive.
im doing this because basically ive just got roxio6 to copy cds and dvds and its saying it needs 4gb of free space, it automatically installed on c drive.
i need help lol, feel like throwing this laptop in the bin

Your C drive is nearly 95% full, so you're going to get problems anyway. It won't defrag when it's that full. You need to get down to about 85% maximum to let it run properly.
You can delete Roxio and reinstall it on the D drive, just manually change the location in the install setup-if you don't, it will put it in the Programs folder on your C drive by default.
Not a good idea to remove the D partition, because this most likely contains your recovery/restore system. But no reason why you can't move some documents etc to that partition if there is space.
I suggst you look at buying a USB external disk so you can move some more files off onto that and free up some more space. No free lunch, and no free laptop

So you have copied them to the D drive, but if you haven't removed the original on the C drive then of course it won't have freed up any space there. No free lunch, and no free laptop
