When do uni students finish their exams?

My friends and I are thinking of doing a theme park crawl in May; just wondering what sort of dates the uni students finish as I know a lot of them head to Alton Towers etc to celebrate and we'd like to beat the rush if possible!

My son has exams up to the end of the first week in June. If that's any help.

Depends on the university.

I'm at Manchester Uni are exams go right up until the 12th of June (well thats the last date of attendance so I think they will finish about the 10th probably but I finish on the 1st of June).

But Man Met's are well over well before that, sometime in May I think as they start a couple of weeks earlier.

Mine finish May 7th and my OH's finish May 8th (Keele and Staffs unis which are very near Alton Towers, so I'd go before then!)

It's highly dependent on the university term times and the individual subjects. My university's term officially ends on the 12th June but the exam period starts on the 27th April so many people finish way before the 12th - my last exam is the 22nd May.

As MrsManda said, a uni will set aside a few weeks for examinations. Individual subjects can have exams at any time within that period, so students will be finishing from May onward.

Mine's June, but my BF's placement is meant to end in May. It does vary a bit unfortunately...

my eldest daughter is at portsmouth, 5th june is the end of exams, but she isnt sure when her last one is.

my wife works at Brighton Uni and the end of their exams is 12th June

I'm at Warwick, and my last exam is on the 10th June, although there are some exams going on until the 20th.

Thanks guys, I had no idea it varied so much! I think we'll aim for first weekend in May to be on the safe side - hope the weather perks up a bit by then :-)
