Selling Clothes-Help

I need some help regarding selling some clothes. I was thinking of selling them in bundles/job lots.
1. Could a SNAD be opened if say one of the ten items in bundle not described/customer does not like one or more of the clothes in the bundle?
2. Items over 2kg can only be sent first class, so would it be better to send first class or first class recorded?
3. As it is a bundle, I could or do I need to photo all the items, or just a pile of the clothes?

Sorry can't help with 1.
But 2 - If I sell clothing bundles I try to use a courier company as I've found them to be cheaper than RM, but obviously depends on the number of clothes you have in your bundle.
3. Also take pics individually and upload them to photobox, you get a better price if buyers can see the items.

Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

A SNAD depends on your buyer, although if it was a bundle of clothes, with just 1 item they didn't like, then it would be a bit an*l of them to open up a dispute due to that, but there are people like that out there...
Always send tracked, so the buyer can't claim they didn't arrive.
Take photos of everything! Personally I prefer to see them on a body then lying on the floor! and perhaps list the dimensions of the person modelling them!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
You could just describe them as 'Sold As Seen' so then you are covered if the buyer claims they are broken or whatever.
I was going to say sell them as 'Spares or Repairs' incase the buyer finds them 'Faulty' but then realised that only really applies to electricals...:DThe quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Sold as seen is completely meaningless on ebay, if something is not as described then paypal allow a SNAD claim.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Any more ideas?
But, with bundle, is it better or not? In terms of listing and not described, as well as negative FB?
I will try and send it recorded, but not sure if tracked works.
BTW, is there a cookie stuffer on one of the posts?

Thank you, I think offending posts have gone already and I have no way of knowing who it was, however we have ways of catching them out now. Whenever I sell clothes I lay them out in lots of about 5 and take pictures of each set. I then put a full description, ie Next Jeans - Blue - Age 4 years - excellent condition or Next Jeans - Blue - age 4 years - average condition. I have sold a lot of my childrens clothes over the years and have never had any problems, i've just been as honest in my descriptions as possible. I always send them out royal mail standard parcels as well. Hope this helps a little.0

Personally i'd avoid bundles but if you must then:
1. Group items eg bundle of tops of similar sizes and/or styles/brands together, trousers together, etc
2. Avoid oufits
3. Picture everything, even if you photo 3 tops in one picture (personally i don't want to see someone modelling the clothes this puts me right off, i'd much prefer seeing things on coat hangers). If your pictures are decent enough then hopefully you won't get a snad suitation, as most people buying a bundle would probably expect to have 1 or 2 that didn't fit / look right
Use auctiva or photobucket so you can upload several pics into one listing for free
4. I would say 10 items imax in a bundle so 2kg weight probably wouldn't apply but do send tracked
5. If there are any flaws in any of them items mention them

Just a note that royal mail standard parcels is NOT tracked so you do run the risk people may falsely claim package not received sending this way2012*1 A DAY on Ebay*Jan 31/31
