Hi all!

Its been a while since I posted on here - last year, in fact! :rolleyes:

Anyway, thought I would stop by to say hello and welcome :hello: to all the new members, congratulate scuba147 on being an inspiration(!!:T) and say that I now have £7.80 in my tin...thats right, I've finally retired the much abused smartie tube (which was looking pretty shabby ). My mum bought me a lovely money box tin shaped like a post box (a big square one with snow on the "roof" ) for Christmas, so my 20ps have been upgraded to a proper tin - its going to hold lots more than £10 worth now as well, so I have to try extra hard to fill it!! :rotfl:

Im about to bank about a tenners worth. Ive been hoarding them as the lockers at the gym only take 20ps but i figure i might as well bank them and just keep 1 or 2 in my purse... they are quite common to come across so no bad thing.

Unlike the elusive £2 coins im trying to save

I've got quite a few now, but I keep them in a tin that i can't get into (unless I open it with a tin opener) so I'm hoping that once that's full, I'll have quite a lot

Thought it was time to bump up this thread again.

£1 for me today (60p in my change :j and a 40p "donation" from Mr P!).

Hope everyone else is still finding them easily...

I'll join! I have just checked the lose change jar and found £2.40 in 20p. Not alot but it's a start.
