Hello to Daft Monkey, Rat Chick and FrugalJo! :hello:

I've collected ten over the last couple of days, so now up to £8.

If I can't think of anything I want when I get to a tenner, I'm going to pay it into my wedding savings account... I'm collecting my £2 coins for the wedding too, but it's taking me ages to get up to £20 to pay those in.

Eldest son has requested a coffee jar as he wants to start saving £1 coins, says something doesn't it when your 11 year old is saving the the golden nuggets and I'm scrabbling around looking for the 20p's !!!
At least it's a postive habit
Not sure what to do with my 20p's either, got enough to debt to throw them at so I'll start there.

Have now got £5.80 in Smartie tube, and have had to move it to where I can't see it, as everytime I looked at it I fancied a smartie :rolleyes: :rotfl: :rotfl:

how much do you reckon you could save in 20ps if you put all the 20ps in a 500ml coke bottle?

I've been putting 40p (in 20ps) into one every day that I resist temptation buying a bar of chocolate from the sandwich lady - I've got nearly £5 now and I haven't cleared the bottom!

Well there is a famine of 20ps I'm sure. Not had one for days..
Still using a coffee jar cos I just haven't found the right little 20p piggy or mortgage pig in the charity shops or on ebay yet.

Hi bliss, welcome to the club.

I'm up to £10 now, was going to put it in the wedding savings account, but I'll hold onto it for now as we're planning a day out in the next couple of weeks...

Will carry on collecting, so I might have enough to go out and be able to put some into savings.
