Have bought a little pink piggybank from charity shop (50p) and have 40p to start savings!! I'm off the mark!

My collection is growing nicely now up to £8. Need to phone hairdressers to see how much it's going to cost me. I know they have a 20% off day so will aim for that.

It's so exciting when you get a 20p change when shopping

Coffee jar will suffice until I get my piggy banks sorted (mortage pig and 20p pigs required ) so I'll happily sign up.

I've now got an empty smartie tube and have just put £3 of 20p's in it I think I'm going to save for Christmas. Which Christmas I don't know as the 20p pot is normally the first to be raided when I'm low on cash :rolleyes::D

I've just broken the £10 mark! :j :j

I think I may bag up £10 worth and bank them tomorrow as I really need to save to pay off a concert ticket I booked last week.

I'm going to leave the balance (£0.40) in the smartie tube so the balance doesn't go back to zero!

Off on holiday on Thursday, so had a count today and I've got £4.40 in my smarties tube!

I find that is most certainly the case. Managed to get a load last week and now absolutely nothing in the past three days Maybe we should go check a timetable :rotfl:
