This is a great idea! All last year I saved my 20p's and once a month empited my piggy bank and took them to the bank.At the end of the year I'd saved £55! Which along with my tesco vouchers gave me and dd a few christmas treats.Have begun again this year and have saved £15 already!!!

Well I got another 2 yesterday so they've gone into the Smarties tube already! I know I'm at over £1 but am resisting the urge to keep counting them, at least until the end of the month anyway! :A

lol i im trying not to count mine as well but can resist it count them every time i get one

Yes, have been a 20p saver for some time, and I have a system for other coins: a few times a week and after any big shopping trip, I go through my purse and if there is an odd number of any coins, the extra one goes in a jar - it's great how fast they add up and then you get the satisfaction of dumping a bag of coins on the counter of your bank or wherever to be paid in - mine goes into my mortgage account and lowers the amount on the cheque I put in there for the following month.
