HURRAY! Having not had a 20 pence in my change all week, I get 2 today! So that's a total of 60 pence in my smarties tube! A small amount I know, but soon I'll have £1 and then maybe £2...... :j All saving up for my holiday away in May!

Hope everyone else is doing OK. Just wondering whether anyone has been doing what I've been considering and asking cashiers to change money into 20 pences?! Just a thought to help me along!

i just got one this morning and i now have a fiver . there building up so quick and i am nearly half way up smarties tube,, whtever i save is what i am bringing for spending money on my holiday in june

Well, it just goes to show that I can't count :rolleyes: - I took my 20ps out of the Smarties tubes this evening (wanted to count them and feel good about my "savings"!) and discovered that I have 20p more than I thought I did... so £2.20 for me!!! :T

20p - great idea, I am saving them with my 7 years old. The goal is pocket money for summer holiday.

We are starting today and got 40p

I hope we will be able to leave all the money collected rest until the summer
