Hi im looking to buy a laptop from dell, any codes available or any ideas? thanks alot!

nah, seems they have a problem letting people who have ordererd them over the past week know weather they can have them or not.
so i'd steer clear of an Inspiration 6000

why though>? surely if you just purchase it from the site brand new they will deliver? buying from the dell outlook looks very good aswell!

well ive had nothing about the inspiration i ordererd last friday
and neither have many others ...its to do with a specific offer

CCFC they're refering to the £299 offer that was on recently (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=1718528#post1718528). Good offer, but they had some problems. Worth looking at the thread if you were after an inspiron 1300 as it was a v. good price.

Totally unrelated, I know - but I ordered a Dell on the Monday and it was delivered on the Wednesday.

I have tried this in the past. Told my colleague and he also got 5% discount in the same way.

This is what you do:
After receiving delivery of your computer, if you ordered via phone, then phone them (or if you ordered online, then email them) with details of your order and say that you are not satisfied with it and would like to know how to proceed with returning the goods for a refund. (note - you are only requesting for how to proceed with refund/return, not asking for it to be returned).
DELL will then offer you 5% off (by payment on your credit card) if you decide not to return.
Hope this can help some MSEers to save a few £££s.
