Hi,
I have 3 CC's all of which I pay PPI totaling £150 approx.
Should I cancel the PPI's with the CC companies first or take out the PPI with a standalone company then cancel the CC PPI?
my company has not announced redundancies at present but in the current market conditions this could change so should I stay will CC PPI or apply for a standalone policy?
Will a standalone policy cover all 3 CC's?
The insurance companies asking for a monthy amount to cover, I've been totaling all 3 min payments but does this inclued the ppi for each CC?
I just feel spending £150pm is money going down the drain as apposed to £10pm that will do the same job(I could be paying off more).
these are probably simple questions to answer but I'm overloaded with info right now
So far the best option is £10.14 over 12 months with a 0 day excess with iprotectinsurance.co.uk
cheers
Darren

You need to be ringing this company you mentioned and ask them the same questions you asked us, they are the specialists and to be honest the guys on here could give you wrong advice (thus my reluctance to say too much) especially if you feel you need it..... so assuming you pay the average of 69p per 100 owing - you have large balances and maybe whilst you're in a stable job a loan with insurance may be a good option..... one monthly payment and for the amounts you owe, i;d say you'll be better off as well...... quite a lot better off !
Are your debts around the 20 grand mark or is your PPI dearer than 69p per 100?

Thanks never-in-doubt,
I've emailed the company - I will post their answers.
My LTSB card is 79p per £100. Virgin Money and Barclay Card are about the same.
