Escalating a Claim Help Please

I bought a CD for my son, and never received it. I emailed, but the eller was no longer a registered user. I opened a dispute, and emailed her personally, in the meantime, Ebay have called me and advised me to escalate immediately.

I have done so, but every time I try to submit the claim, it keeps telling me the claim is invalid, if I try a different option, it tells me I have missed or entered invalid information.

I've tried several times, signed in and out, and tried every option availble on the page, all to no avail.

What gives? What am I doing wrong? I have successfully filed the odd clam previously, and have never had this much aggravation.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

We had this on another thread so maybe paypal are glitchy?

Phone paypal today and ask them how to get the claim escalated as I believe that is how the other person got it resolved.

Yep, it was me that had the same problem the other day. I rang them and they did it at their end for me and I got an email to confirm it.

Why not? Just log into your account find 'contact us' and you'll get the telephone number and a web pin.

I don't want to either, I prefer the faceless online option too, but I want my money back, so phone call it is ~ they're jolly nice though.

Email them then - they should be able to do it that way. Looks like it is a common fault at the moment.

  • I had this same problem, I emailed them, explaining the problem and asking them to escalate it manually, they got back to me the next day with a really polite email saying something about updating the system and they had escalated it for me. I think they do get back to your emails just not straight away, which is ok as long as you've got some time left on your deadline to escalate.
