What gifts did you get for your 30th birthday?

my h2b and I are both scientists, I wanted to get him a modern art type picture of his DNA, but they were sooo expensive (and something I could have done myself in 30mins at work) I got a poster from e-bay and a frame from ikea and we told all our friends that i'd had him sequenced!

He also got an engraved cigar cutter, something personal, that only he will use and will use nearly every wkend!

i got a hubby for my 30th i was the day i got married lol ,
but he did buy me a beautiful handmade and designed by him silver watch for my birthday.(sounds expensive but his mate is a silversmith)
carvel do some lovely sterling silver watches for around £20 ,i wear one of these as an everyday watch

For my hubby`s 30th I got him loads of bits, and clubbed together with my Mum and Sis to get him a fish tank with cabinet which he loves.

I was given a beautiful gold chain from OH. Im now 42 and I havent taken it off since my 30th.

my mum got me a silver tiffany ID bracelet and got it engraved - her and my dad had gotten me a gold id bracelt for my 21st so now have the set
