No you can have a number of accounts. Many professional sellers will use a different account for different lines or for private use.
However I believe you can lose them all if you're suspended on one for "misconduct".
    Can I help?

Different email address required for each account and may be different cards attached to each acount but no you only need one paypal account for all of them

Also useful to have one account for selling and one for buying. That way you can be honest with your feedback on items you buy, without worrying that the inevitable retaliatory neg will effect future sales.

One point to watch is that there must NEVER be any interaction between the two accounts. If there is you can kiss both accounts goodbye.
  • can i ask a question - why would you want more than 1 account
you can use more than 1 account on screen at any one time

I have several accounts. I have two main selling accounts as I often sell totally different things, and one is a nice touchy feely name that seems to inspire more bids on certain items. I also have a third account that I use for buying mainly but also to sell a few odds and ends that I don't want on my main id's as they tend to be right off the lower end of the scale price wise, and I like to inspire confidence in my buyers and be seen to sell good quality stuff, not 99p BIN items.

I also have another buying id for buying things that I might be buying to resell on ebay.

The reason people often seperate their buying and selling id's is so that if they have a problem with a seller it is possible to leave negative feedback risking getting one in return. A neg on a buying account is nowhere near as bad as a neg on a selling account.
