Does anyone know what exactly the deal is with the Clubcard credit card?
The Tesco website seems to indicate that, by spending £4 in Tesco, you get the normal 4 points plus an "extra" 5, making a total of 9 points...
...but I've seen people posting about only getting a total of 5 points for the £4 spend?
Which is true?

You get 1 point extra per £4 you spend wherever. If you use it at Tesco you get the normal 4 Clubcard points as well so you get a total of 5 points per £4.0

I know this has nothing to do with the question in hand but does anybody know if you can pay for your tesco grocery shop using your tesco credit card and earn points on the clubcard the credit card is registered to and the online tesco account with a different clubcard number?0

How does it manipulate your decision? Surly you can only be manipulated if you allow yourself to be?Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

eh??
It directly helps them target you for offers you may like.. so if you're a family with a small child they send you offers for nappies etc etc.. you don't have to take them up on the offer
indirectly it enables them to profile their customers see what type of people are spending what type of money on what type of things.. will enable them to decide what type of stores to build and what type of goods to offer in their respective stores.
you don't really "not" benefit either way.0 -

Another quick question about the tesco credit card. When it comes to the 0% on purchases promotion ending, will this be the date the statement is produced on the month the offer is due to end? Do they give you warn you on the statements a few months before its due to end?0
