Has anyone got a letter from British Gas?

Has anyone still got a letter from British Gas offering them a nailed up account to 2008 or 2009 with fixed rates starting in October 2005? We signed up to that premise and was told by BG today that the programme starts now, in March. This is after they have raised their rates. Please let me know if you have this letter that was sent out in september 05. Cheers, Paul

In October 2005 the offers would have been capped to 2007 or 2010 at different rates . I am on the 2007 rate for Electric only and have stayed on that as the new CLICK ONLINE rate actually gives a discount for electric over the 2007 rate, Don't have a letter but hope this helps.

A Google search on BG rates may show a cached page from the time you want !

We opted for the 2010 option, but then received another letter saying that when we get a letter outlining the forthcoming increase, we were to ignore it! sure enough we got a letter saying it would go up, there seems to be two different depts. working alongside but not necessarily communicating well.
