I bought a projector on Ebay about three weeks ago. I got lucky and got it at a really good price. It got delivered two days later, I set it up and everything apart from the remote control works. It was advertised as brand new, sealed and one year warranty from a seller with a score of 300.
I emailed the seller twice since about the faulty remote control but no response. To be honest, it would be nice to have a working remote but I don't want to send the projector back as it would be a lot more expensive to get a replacement.
Is it worth leaving a neutral feedback about the remote being faulty and the seller not responding to emails? Or would you leave it considering you are happy with the price you paid?

Was it sealed when you received it? If so it may be worth persisting with the seller to see if you can get the warranty so you can take it up with the shop they got it from. I dont think you can blame the seller if it was sealed, but is faulty.
I dont know what time lines your talking about, but if it was recently dont forget the seller may have gone away for Easter & that is why they are not responding. May be you could wait a bit longer before leaving feedback.0 -
How long ago did you contact them, it may be that they aren't getting their email notifications when they get an ebay message - have you got alternative email or phone contact for them.
Worth trying again to see if you can resolve it before leaving feedback, they may be less willing after feedback has been left.0 -
Hi, I sent them one mail two and a half weeks ago and one mail five days ago. No phone number or alternative email

you should send a message through ebay as some people (myself included) do not always check the account regularly where my ebay messages go to.0

I would send a message via eBay messages and if no reply leave a netural. At the end of the day it might have been a good price but if the seller does not reply when there are difficulties.0
