Not really, garden is too small it would be too close to the house/animals/neighbours fences, etc. Still a lot of wood in garden we want to keep that could easily ignite.

The OP stated the area was built up.

If they burn it they won't be popular with the neighbours. ;)
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

    Im with Zazen999 here .
Burn it , keep the fire small, we are talking old wood , not piles of green ( smoky stuff ) If the neighbours can have a BBQ you can burn a few 'sticks'
Then wots left goes in a small skip.

We're not talking 'sticks' here we're talking a 8 by 6 shed chopped into various lengths along with the inner shelves, etc. At the moment there is nowhere to physically have a small fire safely, there are outside animals in close vicinity (next doors huskies are literally behind the fence and we have rabbits). We also had an arson attack in the garden in the past, so for us - fires in our garden do not happen.

Dig a big hole in the garden and bury it.

Do not burn it, do not bury it. You have treated wood, to burn it will release all kinds of nasty things into the air around your garden, and as it will be heavier than air, arsenic fumes amongst other things will be hanging around you and your neighbours garden for ages.
Google it if you don't believe me.

If you have a conscience please don't offer it for burning on freecycle either.

It really needs to be landfilled. Or taken to one of those council wood skips, although I'm not sure what they do it it there?
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
