Slow cooker - good buy?

    i love my slow cooker and use it about 3 times aweek for stews, spag bol. pasta sauces, whole joints of meat etc oh and porridge for the mornings,, there is a thread on OS with 1000's of ideas

  • yep, i bought this one a few weeks ago -can't fault it at all - especially at the price. Couldn't believe how lovely my sunday dinner turned out!

    I got the amazon one, arrived yesterday - I need a good book with recipes now if anyone can recommend.

    TBH you don't need a book there are 1000's of recipes & great ideas on the OS good luck :D

    I'm normally pretty goods with abbreviations, TLAs and FLAPs but this one stumped me:rotfl:

    I like that the Plastic Surgeons association in the UK is called BAAPS :D

    To keep it OT, I have the Morphy Richards 3.5L slow cooker. Kept it in the box for months and since I used it for the first time I have been addicted :rotfl:
