Just saw this in Tescos, a slow cooker for £9.97. Thought it was a good buy for anyone in the market, it's also available online http://direct.tesco.com/q/N.1999571/Nr.99.aspx?Ns=P_HIDDEN_Stock_Available%7C1%7C%7CP_SORT_Price&btnResultSort.x=20&btnResultSort.y=2
Buy with your cc+ for extra value lol.
Hope it's useful.

Slow cookers are great. Whack some meat and veg in there before you go to work, when you come home you have a delicious casserole waiting for you. Recommended. Thanks to all who post constructively.

Hi
Need a new slow cooker does anyone know whenther you can get a standard full chicken in this one
cheers Jimbobla0 -
I have the same model. I can get a 2kg chicken in with a bit of a squeeze. I also cook pork leg or shoulder after cutting off the skin. I rub the skin with salt and make wonderful crackling by cooking it skin side down on a tray when I do my yorkshires. Takes an hour.
Edit: Looking at the 2 on the site, the silver one is the same as mine. Although the site says that the black, cool touch one is also 3.3L it is smaller in size so I don't know how that would work out.0 -
Found a small tray of braising steak reduced to £1.27 in Morrisons. Iceland do a big bag of casserole veg for £1, only need half a bag. One roughly chopped onion. Dinner for three for less than two pounds! Thanks to all who post constructively.
