Capital One - overlimit by £3.00 will i get charged?

I have gone £3.00 over my credit limit with Capital One as of today, I have paid £5.00 using their online payment service with my debit card. Will i get £12 over limit charged slapped on?:mad:

    Yep. I went over by 50p and paid it straight away with my debit card, still got the £12 charge.

    If you speak to the card company and plead that it was an oversight, they might, just might waive the fee, if you don't make a habit of it, but that would be entirely at their discretion.

    if its 1st time they probs will refund it/not slap charge... dunno if they'd put it on ur file tho... may effect increase?!

    Anything over your limit automatically makes you incur charges
    Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
    Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000
    6 credit accounts closed in 2010!

    Update - No charges incurred!! I was shocked. We had another incident in February where we paid through online banking a week before payment was due and i stupidly put in our account number incorrectly and didn't check, then panicked when our £60 payment didn't show. We were off to Florida the following day and wanted to use our card as back up. We got a late payment charge immediately, however when i rang them they had already matched up our account, credited the late payment charge immediately and doubled our credit limit on our next statement. We have got their credit building card, not sure if that may have anything to do with it?
