Help please! Computer screen on its side???!!!

Hi,
My son was playing a game on his computer this morning ( and obviously got a little excited:rolleyes:) and said he hit a few random buttons on his keyboard.

His screen is now on its side IYKWIM:confused: i.e the green start button which is usually in the bottom left hand corner is now on the top left hand corner (but on its side). The whole screensaver picture and all the icons are on the side too.

I'm sure its probably quite simple to turn it all around but I can't figure it out

I would be so grateful if someone cold help me:D

Many thanks in advance!

Ah we have this option at school, to rotate the screen it's either

    Ctrl + left arrow/right arrow
    Alt + left arrow/right arrow
    Shift + left arrow/right arrow

It's one of the above :p (left arrow will rotate the screen anti-clockwise and right will do clockwise)

All depends on the graphics card fitted. Look in Control panel for a control for the graphics card (NVIDIA, etc). There is normally an option within this for rotation of display.
If I have helped in any way, and you feel like it - please press the thanks button

Anyway, managed to sort it with your wonerful advise.
I had to go into the control panel as advised and was given the option to rotate........ I now have one happy little boy and a mum who's going to have a cup of coffee;):D

    Thank you so much:beer:
