i bought these from tesco the other day but the mouse is driving me mad! it keep going all over the place and takes ages to click on what i actually want, is there something wrong or just the fact the both of them were £15

Is its a optical mouse?
I've got one which didn't like the surface I was using it on (was reflective in places), put a piece of A4 paper (white) under where I use it and the issue went away
