Anyone know of a good hotel in Birmingham

Can anyone give me the name of a good hotel in either the Birmingham or Sutton Colfield area. The only essential is family rooms but leisure facilities would also be nice. Also I will have an 8 and a 9 year old with me so cannot go anywhere too stuffy. Thanks in advance.

Birmingham Sutton Coldfield or Birmingham Fort Dunlop may be of use to you.
Or if you are looking for something more up market (and it has lovely grounds) then the Ramada Hotel & Resort, Birmingham (Used to be called the Penns Hall Hotel) is actually in Sutton ColdfieldI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!

Or try the Forest of Arden hotel - not too far away.
Or Lea Marston complex.

Hi Kitikat......... We stay in Holiday Inn Express regularly less than a 10 minute walk from the City centre. Its cheap at £39 per room per night for up to either 4 or 5 people. The deal includes a darn good continental breakfast which can be eaten in the dining room and/or taken tback to your room. Well recommended

The Tamworth Travelodge is at J10 of the M42, so if you need to get to Sutton, you are only one junction away, J9 takes you straight there. They had £10 rooms too. There is also a Travelodge in Boldmere Road, Sutton.
Moor Hall is another possibility if you wanted something a bit more upmarket.0
